He watched her from across the road shift her vehicle into reverse and back up into the driveway. From my window, I could hear the sounds of an unrecognizeable sound. He stood there with his clip board and pen in hand, dug in the pocket of his baggy wrinkled pants, and pulled out what looked like a piece of gum or candy. After she parked the vehicle, he walked towards the driveway. From a distance, it looked like he was instructing her to do something. After she opened the trunk, she turned to face his direction and smiled at him.
